Solarcentury is making strides in exporting its 15 years of solar expertise to establish solar projects for businesses in Latin America. A solar farm build is currently underway in Panama and others throughout Latin America are in the pipeline. So it’s an exciting time for Solarcentury’s International business team including its experienced team of Spanish speakers.
Forging new relationships is an important part of growing the business in Latin America, so it was with some excitement that the London HQ recently hosted His Excellency, Daniel Fábrega, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama, together with his Deputy Head of Mission, Margarita Zurita. The visitors met the Solarcentury team and in particular those currently working closely with businesses and local partners in Panama.
Ambassador Fábrega commented, “It is a great pleasure to visit Solarcentury and I was very pleased to learn more about the projects they are working on in Panama. There are fantastic opportunities for solar in Panama and Solarcentury really understands the local environment and business climate. I look forward to strengthening the relationship between Panama and Solarcentury in the coming months and years.”
Solarcentury CEO, Frans van den Heuvel said, “It is an honour to have Ambassador Fábrega join us at our office in London. He has a strong understanding of the energy needs of Panama and the opportunities that solar PV can provide. We look forward to developing and expanding our Panamanian business and we welcome his support in building ties between us Panamanian business.”
